Community Survey 2023
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUBMITTED FEEDBACK FOR THE RECENT COMMUNITY SURVEY CONDUCTED BY THE ALLIANCE.
This year the community was surveyed through a collaboration between the Catherine Hill Bay Community Alliance and the Catherine Hill Bay Progress Association. The results revealed that there is a high level of agreement across the three villages of Moonee, Catherine Hill Bay and Middle Camp.
There was a strong sense that any additional tourism should reflect the importance of maintaining the peaceful and beautiful nature of the area. About half of residents were open to the idea of a new hotel, provided it was small scale and scope or more of a pub/tavern concept. The highest ranked items were retail/shops, public parks, public access to the headland at Montefiore Street and walking tracks and playgrounds, including the promised Coastal Walkway.

on-line and paper formats, sent via email to all PA and Alliance members and also delivered to every house in the village during March 2023.
265 responses were received – mainly online – and responses broadly reflected the number of houses in each village, so all communities were well represented in the results
